The Recreational Facilities Committee was created by a resolution of the town board on September 9, 2019 as an additional standing committee. While the previously established Non-motorized Trails Committee has primary responsibility for developing and maintaining trails on both town and non-town lands, the Recreational Facilities Committee has primary responsibility for developing and maintaining facilities other than non-motorized trails on lands designated as Town Parks. The committees will work cooperatively in the best interest of the community on facilities where their responsibilities overlap.
