Mission Statement
To preserve and protect our heritage through the restoration of
the Red Brick Schoolhouse of St. Germain. To honor the families
who deeded the land, those pioneers that built the schoolhouse,
the teachers who taught, the children who learned, and all of us
who admire their strength. We will do this and not add to the tax
burden of the residents. |

| RED BRICK SCHOOLHOUSE
COMMITTEE SEEKING HISTORICAL INFORMATION! |
|
-
As a newly
appointed committee, by the St. Germain Town Board, we are
planning what might be referred to as "Phase
One" in restoring the original part of the Red Brick
Schoolhouse to it's original configuration. Also,
the committee is seeking to create a historical record
concerning the school, from it's beginnings in 1941 to the
present. We would like anyone who has
information about the school, or photos, or memorabilia
connected with the school, to consider sharing same with
the committee. Also, as a
beginning point in creating a historical paper and photo
trail, we would like to know anything anyone knows about
the four schools that were scattered throughout the
township prior to the construction of the Red Brick
School. Your input
and assistance will be greatly appreciated. The
committee's Historian can be reached a 715-542-3804 or by
e-mail; buckshot@nnex.net
