Town of Saint Germain Ordinances
Per Wisconsin Statutes, only towns having been granted "village powers" by the town electors have authority to enact town ordinances. Those powers were granted to the St. Germain Town Board by the electors in attendance at the April 5, 1969 annual town meeting. The hand written minutes of that meeting are available for review in the Office of the St. Germain Town Clerk.
Code of Ordinances
The Saint Germain Town Board enacted Ordinance SG17-01-1, creating a Code of Ordinances, pursuant to section 66.0103, Wis. Stats. on 01/09/2017. The ordinances in the following table have been updated in a manner that enables enforcement of them through the Vilas County Circuit Court. More ordinances will be added to the Code of Ordinances as they are developed.
